The black is symbolic of Blak women and our stories of healing and connection to creator and creation.

The white paints the picture of my daily journey up this beautiful mountain, the footprints and woman symbol outlining the mountainšŸ‘£ speak of the journeys we have to choose to go on as individuals to heal, the beautiful sun that rises everyday which speaks of new beginnings ā˜€ļø

The meeting place symbol represents the journey that I’ve gone on with having to meet myself again, learn who I am, look at myself in the mirror and really love the woman I’ve become through the trauma and pain I’ve experienced. For me I’ve had to reach in to my child self and heal, love on and nurture her so that my adult self can continue to heal.

These pieces are adorned with beautiful bright red sandalwood seeds that were collected from this mighty mountain ā›°ļø
