Deadly Dedication Collection

This Memorial Collection was created to honour a dearly missed Dean Smith who was a loving Poppy, Father, Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle, Mate, Coach, Mentor  & dedicated Community Worker. 

Dean was a proud Aboriginal Man who put his family first. Followed by his passion for working in community supporting his people and mentoring youth through another passion being sport, in particular rugby league. 

The loss of Dean has impacted everyone who knew him massively but not as big as the positive impact he made on people during his 48 years of life. Sadly and shockingly Dean died by suicide, but we would like him to be remembered for the warrior he was & focus on his powerful life and not the way it ended. 

Our hope is to honour Dean and recognise First Nations Men, acknowledge their strength and highlight the importance of their health and well-being.

The Deadly Dedication Collection was thoughtfully created & inspired to continue the legacy of Dean Smith & to support the Dean Smith memorial team that will be playing at the 2022 Queensland Murri Carnival. 

TTPOPP donated 80% of all funds raised from this collection to support the holistic needs 
of this team. 

Your support of this collection was so greatly appreciated & so vital in ensuring our First Nations men have the support & resources needed to help them thrive.
