Yarnin with Clay Children’s Workshop - First Nations Children’s Festival

Yesterday my eldest walbai & I 🧑🏽‍🦱 - Blessing went walk about 👣👩🏾‍🦱🙄🤣 delivered our Yarning with Clay Children’s workshop at the Cairns Childrens Festival @cairnsfests Bulmba Gadigadigu (A place for children) pop up space curated by @firstnationschildrensfestival & my sissy @liapaapaa

It’s was hectic🤣😆, we had heaps of fun 🤩 & there were so many lil humans rollin in who created a special piece of personalised art out to the clay pendants we made.

For those that got to participate, they walked away with a brand new handmade polymer clay keyring, necklace or bracelet. 🌺

Grateful to @cairnsfests @firstnationschildrensfestival @liapaapaa for creating spaces for artists both younger & older to share our love for creativity with our community ❤️‍🔥

Always so grateful I get to do this alongside my walbai & nieces & nephews ❤️‍🔥👩🏾‍🦱👧🏻👶🏽🧑🏽‍🦱🥹

I do this for him & his siblings & no matter what he chooses to do when his a big hairy man I hope he always knows that the effort we go to, is to ensure First Nations & Global Indigenous children & people are visible, celebrated & given a platform to T H R I V E🔥.

This is the priority of the village he belongs to ❤️‍🔥

Biggest Esso to everyone who showed up & made this event possible!

Esso my sissy for the 📸 @tezzawill 🖤
